Allow me to introduce myself.
Why UgoUgoTBS?
The name was originated from a PSOne game I played, where a blue slime monster made a dialogue of “ugo ugo”. The monster and the odd looking word stuck with me, and thus I decided to stick with the name. TBS in reality simply stands for “The Blue Slime”. I have used this name since 2011, and now I simply feel attached to it.
I’m Khairul, a motion graphics designer based in Malaysia that has worked on a variety of videos and designs ranging from advertisement designs, teasers, explainer videos, and more.
I have started getting involved with digital arts since 2011. During that time I was making modding resources for Warcraft III game including character models, effects and icons.
From 2014 to 2019, I pursued for my diploma and bachelor’s degree in graphic design and digital media in MARA University of Technology, Malaysia.
After graduation, I had a brief time working with an agency and post-production team. However, as I was not feeling compatible with a big team and wanting to be more than a fodder designer designer, I went on to become an freelancer.

- Perhaps photography alone is not enough to justify your brand. Sometimes the physical world does not reflect the intricacies of your brand, thus you needed some creative strokes to liven it up.
